APT recently announced two new river cruise ships, the APT Solara and APT Ostara to be launched in 2025, sailing along the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers.

Guests will travel in unparalleled luxury; both ships have been designed by award-winning Melbourne architects Hecker Gutherie who created a contemporary vessel with Australian travelers in mind offering more space for the 154 passengers onboard.

Travelers will have the choice between three spacious and light filled suite categories, including window suites, Balcony Suites and Owner’s Suites. Finished in warm, rustic tones, featuring wooden accents combined with earth linens to evoke a sense of comfort.

All suites boast riverside views, in suite entertainment, dining and a fully stocked minibar. The Owner’s Suite features spacious interiors and a large balcony, a separate sitting area and floor-to-ceiling windows give guests ample space to relax and watch the riverside scenery.

Both ships feature six unique dining venues including The Owner’s Cellar which host intimate wine tastings, and the alfresco Daystar Deck. The restaurant menus will revolve around the seasons and regions the ships are visiting, for example petite crepes with creme fraiche one day, zucchini flowers with local ricotta the next.
