The Ocean Explorer, delivered in 2021, and boasting an Ice Class 1A and PC6 rating, is purpose-built for polar regions such as a Antarctica cruise, designed to operate in all conditions without the need for icebreaker assistance. This places the ship in the same league as its sister ship, the upcoming Ultramarine, ensuring guests a seamless and extraordinary journey through the icy wonders of the polar landscapes. 

A key feature of the Quark Expeditions Ocean Explorer is its distinctive ULSTEIN X-BOW® design.
