Norwegian Cruise Line Launches Viva Ship

Norwegian Cruise Line launched Viva, their second ship in the Prima class, with a splash earlier this August. They first-welcomed guests aboard to set sail from Venice, Italy, through to picturesque European destinations such as Salerno, Cannes, and Ibiza before homeporting to San Juan, Puerto Rico this December for a season in the Caribbean. Norwegian Viva was christened by latin music singer Luis Fonsi, famous for his song ‘Despacito’ with 1500 guests in attendance.

Boasting the accommodation of 3,099 guests with a three-story ‘Viva Speedway’ – an open air food market featuring 11 unique eateries and fabulous bars, Norwegian Cruise Line’s fleet has now expanded to 19 ships (read about it’s other latest released ship – Norwegian Aqua here) . Classed under its award-winning sister ship, Norwegian Prima – Norwegian Cruise Line’s aim is to feature stand-out onboard experiences for all it’s ships and Norwegian Viva is the latest addition.
