Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Sea with Explora Journeys

Explora Journeys has unveiled its festive program for 2024. With both the Explora I and Expolora II in the Caribbean, the cruise line is planning a host of family activities, enrichment programs, and star-studded entertainment for the festive season.

Explora Journeys Summer in the Caribbean

Over Christmas, from the 23rd to the 30th of December Explora I will travel from Miami, visiting San Juan, Road Bay, Roseau, Castries, and Bridgetown. While Explora II will set sail from the 20th to the 27th of December, stopping in Road Bay, Pointe-aPitre, Jost Van Dyke and Marigot before ending in San Juan.

New Year celebrations will begin in Bridgetown for Explora I on the 30th of December. Celebrating New Year’s Eve in St. George’s before visiting Kralendijk, Willemstad and Oranjestad, ending the cruise in Miami on the 7th of January. Explora II will begin the New Year festivities a bit earlier on the 27th in San Juan before continuing to Charlotte Amalie, St. John ‘s and Basseterre, finishing up in Miami on the 5th of January.

Guests can expect to see the two ships decked out for the festive season, from twinkling lights, wreaths, trees and elegantly crafted ornaments. A range of seasonal treats will also be available, including gingerbread houses and curated holiday menus. Special holiday entertainment will feature onboard, choirs, carols, parades and Santas meet-and-greet. Fireworks will mark the new year over St. George’s and San Juan, and guests will be invited to celebrate at the exclusive New Year’s Eve Gala.
