Abercrombie & Kent Unveil Exclusive Nile Riverboat in 2025

Renowned luxury travel company Abercrombie & Kent is poised to redefine the experience of Nile river cruising with the introduction of a custom-designed riverboat set to launch in late 2025. Elevating the essence of luxury travel, this bespoke vessel is anticipated to offer a more refined journey along the waters of Egypt. 

With over four decades of expertise in Nile cruising, Abercrombie & Kent plans to position this riverboat as a high-end floating hotel. The boat will offer an array of amenities, including two restaurants – one indoor and one outdoor – where travellers can relish cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Additionally, passengers can indulge in the spa, gym, elegant social spaces, a swimming pool, and a sundeck designed for relaxation between excursions.

Nile River – Abercrombie & Kent Launches New Riverboat 2025

While the riverboat’s name is undecided, Abercrombie & Kent promises that it will deliver their most immersive Nile cruise experience to date. The hand-picked crew, featuring Egyptologists, aims to create an intimate and exclusive atmosphere akin to a private floating basecamp, allowing for daily encounters with the living history along the Nile. 

Each of the 32 cabins will be adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows, Juliet balconies above the water, marble bathrooms, and luxurious 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets. The two presidential suites will be unparalleled in size and luxury. Each boasting an outdoor hot tub on their private decks. 

Construction is already underway at Massara Shipyard in Egypt, with completion expected in Autumn 2025. The contract, signed by Abercrombie & Kent’s Amr Badr, managing director or Arabia and Egypt, underscores the commitment to delivering an exceptional travel experience.

Egypt’s allure is set to intensify further in 2024 with the opening of the long-awaited grand Egyptian Museum, showcasing an extraordinary collection of Ancient Egyptian treasures.
